Card Reader Fails To Read Finger Prints In Plateau

The card readers deployed by the Independent National Electoral Commission in Plateau State failed to read the finger prints of some voters in Jos, the state capital. A citizen reporter who made this known to The Eagle Online via a Black Berry Messenger platform, said the development was shocking to him. One of the affected polling units is 009 at Vanderpuye in Jos North Local Government Area. However, the INEC officials have succeeded in accrediting all those who came out to vote at the polling unit, with voting to commence at 1pm.
