Danjuma Hails Jonathan, She Has Set Record

President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday visited a former Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council, General Theophilus Danjuma (rtd), at his residence in Abuja. Danjuma thanked President Jonathan for the private visit during which talks were held behind closed doors. He commended him for the way he handled the aftermath of the March 28 presidential and National Assembly elections. According to him, the President has set a record by conceding defeat to the winner of the presidential election and All Progressives Congress candidate, Muhammadu Buhari. He said it is worthy of emulation. His words: “President Jonathan has set a history, a record and something to be emulated by Africa and indeed the whole world. “It’s an excellent thing he did.” On his part, President Jonathan thanked Danjuma for his fatherly support during the election.
