IGP Urges Citizens To Be Vigilant At Easter

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba has called on Nigerians to remain vigilant during the Good Friday and Easter celebration, urging them a available of  the police of any useful information on suspected crimes.
The IGP made the call yesterday in a statement signed by the Force spokesman, CP Emmanuel Ojukwu in which he said the police boss heartily felicitates with the Christian faithful and urged them to adopt the full significance of the resurrection of Christ.
Abba who enjoined Nigerians to respect the diversities of the nation solicited their cooperation during the April 11 governorship elections.
“The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba heartily felicitates with Christian faithful across the nation as they join other Christians in the world to celebrate the joyous and glorious moment of the resurrection of Jesus Christ
“While urging Christians to learn and adopt the full significance of the resurrection of Christ and to open their hearts to issues of peace, forgiveness and harmonious co-existence, he enjoined all Nigerians to emulate the principles of the Easter season and to celebrate within the ambit of the law.
“The IGP enjoined Nigerians to respect the diversities of the nation. He also called on Nigerians for more cooperation with law enforcement and security agents as the country continues in the enthronement of democracy in the April 11th 2015 polls,” Ojukwu said.

The Police High Command assured that the multifarious strategies adopted by the Police Force on adequate security will ensure a hitch-free Easter celebrations.
