Another Woman Shot Dead In Ebonyi

A woman has been killed after heavy shooting shooting in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, The Punch is reporting. The Punch said the killing of the woman has forced voters to flee the polling units. Ikwo is the home town of Martin Elechi, the state governor. ‎ The Punch said thugs, suspected to be working for the Peoples Democratic Party and being guarded by soldiers, are snatching election materials in most polling booths in the council. The unidentified woman is lying dead close to the polling booth where Governor Elechi was accredited. Two persons were shot dead earlier in the day in the state. They were Mike Ojor, and the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ishielu Local Government Area, Emeka Nworie.
