Akwa Ibom PDP Governorship Candidate Goes To Polling Unit With 100 Security Operatives

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel, went to his polling unit with over 100 armed security operatives, The Punch is reporting. Emmanuel, who was accredited at Awa-Iman Ward 1, Unit 2 at Onna Local Government Area, refused to grant newsmen interview on the development. The Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba, had directed that no armed security operative must be seen close to any polling unit.
