Ekiti Senator, Ayo Arise, Dumps PDP for APC

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State, Senator Ayo Arise, has dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress. The APC was said to have been put pressure on Arise for a while to dump the PDP. The deal was however sealed after a meeting between the chieftains of the APC and the senator in Akure, the Ondo State capital, this week. Arise confirmed the development to The Eagle Online. Arise spoke with The Eagle Online on the telephone on Wednesday. He was in the Senate between 2007 and 2011. More details soon.
