A traditional ruler and prominent member of the All Progressives Congress, whose name was simply given as Chief Adube, and six other members of the APC have been killed by gunmen who invaded Obrikom village in Rivers State on Friday. Obrikom is in Onelga Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State. Adube’s two sons were among the six others killed by the gunmen. Information emanating from Rivers State on Friday had it that the gunmen have moved to Oboh, a neighbouring community to Obrikom, where Vincent Ogbuagu, the APC House of Assembly member comes from. Ogbuagu was a staff of Bro Felix Obuah, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State.
