Real Madrid send representatives to Germany over Marco Reus

Real embark on Reus quest

Real embark on Reus quest

Bayern Munich are going in hard to get Marco Reus and have said as much to Borussia Dortmund over the past few days. In fact Bayern have already made an offer, and this has prompted Real Madrid to send a representative to Germany so as not to be taken by surprise and lose out as a result of any action taken by the player himself.
The successful signing of Reus will have much more to do with the player's own wishes rather than any agreement between clubs, or anything else.
A figure of around €25 million is said to be what Reus and Reinhard Rauball, the president of Borussia Dortmund, have agreed for the German international player to be able to leave, though Bayern are apparently seeking an agreement for somewhat less than that.
Florentino Pérez is perfectly calm about Borussia Dortmund, however. The Borussia Dortmund president promised, as reported previously in MARCA, to keep Real Madrid informed about any changes in the situation. However, at the Bernabéu they do not trust Bayern's strategy concerning a player that Real Madrid are keen on signing.
In Munich people are still wondering what led Kroos to leave Guardiola's team, and revenge is still in the air despite the good relationship that exists between the two clubs.
