HE ALSO HAS AN OFFER FROM BAYERN
Martin Odegaard's presence in the Spanish capital has been confirmed. The Norwegian starlet is in Madrid together with his father and his agent for talks on joining 'Los Blancos'.
As revealed by the Norwegian media on Tuesday evening, the 16-year-old is staying at a Madrid hotel and he is now being accompanied by a member of Real Madrid's sports management after meeting with the club on Wednesday morning.
Odegaard currently has two big offers on the table - one of them from Bayern Munich - and he has told the people in charge in Chamartín as much. The other is more than likely from an English club (Manchester United and Arsenal, among others, have him on their radar).
The German side have offered him a five-year contract and a wage packet which would make him the highest-paid youngster in history. He would start out with a contract worth €1 million in his first year, which would then gradually rise to €2.5 million.
The boy wonder's arrival in Madrid has turned into quite the fanfare back in his home country, and a number of special correspondents arrived in the capital today, Wednesday, to keep a close eye on any developments, with the expectation that he could sign for Real any time now.
