Murray handed walkover title in Abu Dhabi

Andy Murray won the seventh edition of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi without taking to the court after an unwell Novak Djokovic withdrew before the final.
The organisers of the exhibition tournament, which serves as a warm-up event ahead of the beginning of the ATP Tour season, confirmed on their website that the world no. 1 wasn't in the right shape to contest the showpiece.
"Unfortunately I am not able to play in the final in Abu Dhabi tonight. I've been sick today with a fever and I'm not fit to play. I love being a part of this tournament and I'm really disappointed not to be able to take my chance of winning the trophy here again", Djokovic lamented in a press release.
The Serbian was looking for his fourth title in as many years at Abu Dhabi's Zayed Sports City, having prevailed in the three previous editions by beating Spaniards David Ferrer (twice) and Nicolás Almagro. He sealed his spot in this year's final with a semi-final victory over Swiss ace Stanislas Wawrinka, the reigning Australian Open champion, while Murray trounced Rafa Nadal at the same stage.
