Sport - Barca Crises Countinues : Luis Enrique: "I feel supported"

BARÇA COACH CLAIMS BACKING FROM CLUB AND PLAYERS

Luis Enrique has emphatically denied having been given an ultimatum by the Barça board and claimed he has "no problems with any players" and gets on fine with Leo Messi "and all the members of the squad".
Asked whether the reported friction between himself and Messi risks hampering the team, he replied:"I have the same relationship with all the players that I did at the beginning of the season. Nothing has changed".
Messi's absence from the open-doors session held for the fans on Monday:"Messi didn't train because of gastroenteritis. That's what the statement said and it's the truth".
His position as Barça boss:"A coach's future always hinges on results. I feel supported both by the club and by the players. We're in a promising situation. We're in the thick of every competition and have real chances [of winning them]. I can understand a bit of disillusionment having set in among the fans after the last match, though [the 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad]: that's normal".
The stories about a breakdown in his relationship with Messi:"I neither confirm nor deny them. What happens within the team should always stay in the dressing room".
Andoni Zubizarreta's sacking:"It's very sad news. Not just because he brought me to the club, but because he, Albert Valentín and Narcís Julià [Zubizarreta's assistants] are three extremely qualified, capable people who have done a great job. They're loyal people".
