Just a few weeks after leaving Sivasspor, Roberto Carlos has signed as the new manager of Akhisar Belediyespor who are second from bottom in the Turkish league.
According to the club, the former player - who represented, among others, Atlético Mineiro, Palmeiras, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Fenerbahçe and Corinthians, not to mention the Brazilian national team - has signed for the rest of this campaign and next season.
This is the third managerial position for the former left-back, a World Cup winner at Korea/Japan 2002, after previous jobs at Anzhi Makhachkala of Russia, his last club as a player, and Sivasspor.
